The whole vibe up there is great. What a great celebration and a healthy reprieve from the nonsense that so often surrounds the entertainment industry. ...That's the best way to describe RIFF, a huge hit of Fresh Air. Kevin Keresey, Director of The Rat Thing | RIFF provided us the opportunity to share our film with the most
generous and appreciative audiences we have encountered to date. The mood you created harkens back to how
Sundance began... Many Thanks. Martin Keegan, Writer/Director of Verboten |

A huge thanks goes out to all who helped make the Second Annual Rainier Independent Film Festival a great success. The volunteers that endured their tasks with smiling faces and great enthusiasm. The surrounding community that greeted the filmmakers and moviegoers with such kindness and warmth. All of the restaurant, lodging and venue establishments who encouraged, most likely unknowingly, those in attendance to absorb the calm beauty of the Valley.
Finally, I wish to thank all of the filmmakers that had the confidence to submit their work to RIFF. As Independent Filmmakers the funds are limited so the choices must be carefully made. We are honored to have been chosen by you.
All the Best,
Win Whittaker, RIFF Festival Director
