I truly think that you've got something great on your hands and I was honored to be part of the inaugural year. Bevan Bell, Director of Divine Manipulation of the Threads | The combination of the beautiful surroundings and wonderful hospitality from the RIFF staff made my journey from NYC well worthwhile. It is comments like those above that make the hard work that went into this festival well worth it. In short summary, the first annual Rainier Independent Film Festival was a very successful three-day event (see photos). From the filmmakers in attendance to the moviegoers to the surrounding community, the feedback has been very positive. Without the help of the festival organizers, volunteers, sponsors, venues, lodging/accommodation establishments, just to name a few, the scale of success would not have been possible.
Last and absolutely not least, a very big "Thank You!!" to all the films submitted, because without your passion there would be no festival.
Hope to see you next year!
All the Best,
Win Whittaker, Festival Director
