The Rat Thing
Kevin Keresey: Actor (Jack), Director

Originally from New York, Kevin has appeared in many independent films including, BA0, TRACKDOWN, NG IS MISSING, PRIME TARGET, THE YARD BROTHERS and others, as well as television appearances and dozens of plays in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Eventually he started writing his own Plays and Screenplays. His third screenplay, THE RAT THING, was a semi finalist in the prestigious 2002 Nicholls Screenwriting Competition. Judged solely by Academy members, the Nicholls is considered to be the premier screenwriting contest. THE RAT THING was also a big hit at three different Staged Readings done at the HBO Workspace. Kevin subsequently received multiple offers for representation for the project from well respected industry agents and producers to sell the screenplay to a major studio. He passed on all offers to sell, including an offer for him to star (but not direct) in the picture and be surrounded by "names." Instead he decided to raise the money independently and produce the film himself, staying true to his vision of directing the film with the original cast he'd chosen.

Sympathetic Details
Ryan Sands: Lead Actor, Producer

Ryan Sands was born and raised in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. A love for acting was evident at a young age as he appeared in several theatrical productions from elementary school to junior high. However, it wasn't until he returned home from Shaw University, in 1997, that he began to pursue a professional career as an actor. Among his feature film credits are "Step Up", "Shadowboxer", and "Fatwa". Television credits include Spike TV's 2007 mini-series, "The Kill Point", CBS' "Hack" as well as national commercials for Carmax, the Black Starz! cable channel, Road Runner DSL and Nike. Ryan has also appeared in several regional commercials and public service announcements. Since 2004, Ryan has been featured as Officer Lloyd "Truck" Garrick on HBO's "The Wire". It was there that he met Benjamin Busch, who played Sands' partner. Wishing to be an active contributor in the realm of independent film, Ryan founded 2 Twenty 2 Productions, in late 2005. Soon thereafter, "Sympathetic Details" was in production. This marks Ryan's first endeavor as a producer..

Currently, Ryan resides in Forestville, MD and is actively developing future projects.
